Jacon Legal is looking to recruit a Group Legal Counsel for Destiny, region Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

Job description
As Group Legal Counsel you hold a key position within the organisation and you take an active part in transactions and negotiations at the executive and board of directors level.
Your main focus is M&A and Corporate law: the supervision, coordination and follow-up of all M&A transactions, advice in matters of Corporate Law and the follow-up of lenders, investors, financing, etc.
In addition you are also responsible for all commercial contracts (conditions of sale and purchase, public tenders, supplier contracts...) and litigation.
Together with the CEO and CFO you work closely with local lawyers (BE, NL and FR) and other external advisers (including those of investors and banks).
Your activities are situated on a group/holding level and you work with the management of the operational divisions in the various countries.

Profile
- Master in Law.
- Must: extensive experience in M&A and Corporate Law. You have financial and tax affinity within this context.
- Experience with commercial contracts and in other legal areas is an asset.
- You are proactive and business-minded, and a skilled negotiator.
- Your primary language is English with good oral skills in Dutch and French.
